| What is required to rent a car? |
For almost all rentals, Budget RAC of Harrisburg requires the following:
1) Valid US or International Driver's License
2) Major Credit or Debit Card
We are happy to accept accounts that are set up for direct billing with the Budget RAC Corporation in lieu of credit card requirements. Just contact us for information on setting up an account! |

| How old do I need to be to rent a car? |
| All renters and drivers need to be a minimum of 25 years of age. We do rent non-premium vehicles to customers 21-24 years of age with a major credit card, at an additional $10/day fee. |

| Do I need a minimum deposit to rent a car? |
| We do require a minimum deposit equal to the amount of the rental or $200 (with a credit card) or $300 (with a debit card), whichever is greater. |

| I want to rent a car with my mother's credit card. Can she pay for my rental? Does she need to be present? |
| The person who is renting a vehicle needs to present a valid credit/debit card in their name at the time of rental. Unfortunately, we cannot accept photocopies, phone authorizations, or cards in other driver's names. |

| Can I pay cash for my car rental? |
| Budget RAC of Harrisburg is happy to accept a cash deposit from anyone who has been qualified by Budget's Cash Qualification department. Please contact us for an application. If a credit card is used at the time of rental, payment needs to remain on a credit card. |

| I've rented a car. Who is allowed to drive? |
| A renter's spouse is always authorized to drive a vehicle at no additional charge. Additionally, anyone who works for the same company as the renter is allowed to drive, if the rental is for company business. Other potential drivers are required to be present at the time of rental (or at a later time at any Budget location) to sign an additional driver form. There is an additional daily charge for each additional driver. |
